Software Improvements, in association with Hyder Consulting, developed a Clinical Safety Assessment Program (CSAP) to enable the National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA) to assess safety related risks, hazards and issues surrounding the creation and use of clinical terminologies and related software.

ANZLIC in conjunction with the Office of Spatial Data Management (OSDM) has contracted Software Improvements to modify the Metadata Entry Tool ‘DSGMET’ to bring it into ANZLIC/Australian Government compliance.

The Office of Spatial Data Management (OSDM) contracted Software Improvements to improve discovery and access to metadata available via the Australian Spatial Data Directory (ASDD). Software Improvements has modified the GeoNetwork open source software to enable discovery and access to metadata available from all ASDD nodes utilising the ANZLIC metadata profiles.

Software Improvements has both research and practical experience in applying the concepts of Model Driven Development and Aspect Oriented Thinking. Software Improvements is now pleased to offer public training courses in these areas. This training is designed to enable others to realise the substantial benefits that result from applying these sophisticated techniques.

| Dr Malte Stien is a Software Developer with Software Improvements currently working on a project with the Australian Research Council. Dr Stien's presentation to the SQA Meeting conducted in Canberra on 21 June 2006, provided insight into the architecture of enterprise applications and how xtUML can be utilised in practice to implement them quickly and with limited resources. The presentation concluded with some measurements and a summary of practical experiences made while working with xtUML at the Australian Research Council. |

Following the acquisition ofo Project Technologies by Mentor Gaphics Liimited, Software Improvements has signed a new Distribution Agreement for the Nucleus BridgePoint product for the territory of Australia and New Zealand.
